What do you think about the Berkley ca. city counsel anti marine corp comments?

They personnally have every right to say what they want by themselves. It is extremely wrong for them to say what they did representing a group of people. A government agency aka city counsel did the wrong thing and should be reprimanded. The people of Berkley need to stand up and put their foot down on this travesty. I hope the federal funds are revoked from the city and they suffer for the brash remarks of their elected officials. Only the people who elected them can do something.
