Which do you prefer: Throwback or current pepsi?

So I just met my relatives from the old country for a nice dinner and they brought a nice gesture: pepsi. But it wasn't any ordinary pepsi you could get from the soda machine it was throwback. The difference between current and throwback being that throwback uses real sugar instead of syrup. I just drank and loved it, but all my other family members disliked. The difference I noticed was mainly it wasn't as acidic and tasted sweeter than the current version. So I ask you which do you prefer?
